Adding Zoom to Your Computer:

  1. Visit the Zoom website: Open your preferred web browser and navigate to

  2. Search for “Zoom”: In the search bar, type “Zoom” and look for the official Zoom Cloud Meetings app.

  3. Download and install: Tap the “Download” or “Install” button next to the Zoom app, and the installation will begin automatically. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

Joining a Zoom Call:

  1. Meeting invitation: You will typically receive a meeting invitation via email or a shared link. Click on the meeting link provided in the invitation.

  2. Launch Zoom: If you have already installed Zoom on your computer, the meeting will open automatically in the Zoom app. On your smartphone, tapping the meeting link will launch the Zoom app directly.

  3. Join the meeting: Once the Zoom app opens, you may be prompted to enter a meeting ID or password. Enter the necessary information if prompted and click “Join” or “Join Meeting” to enter the virtual meeting room.

  4. Audio and video settings: After joining the meeting, you will have the option to turn on your microphone and camera. You can do this by clicking the respective icons at the bottom left corner of the Zoom window (on a computer) or tapping the corresponding buttons on your smartphone screen.
